Did you know that accidental injury is the leading cause of death for children and adolescents in the United States? This statistic includes unintentional deaths caused by vehicle collisions, suffocation, drowning, poisonings, and other tragic — often preventable — accidents. In a nationwide effort to spread awareness and education about accidental injury hazards and child safety measures, November has been officially recognized in the U.S. as National Child Safety and Protection Awareness Month.
As a personal injury law firm, we see firsthand the life-altering consequences of accidental injury. Therefore, we take a very serious interest in joining and advocating for this national campaign’s cause. We ask our audience to also help spread awareness and education about youth safety hazards and precautions — from around the house to inside the car and beyond.
