Crash Involving Semi Leads to Fatality

One person was killed Tuesday morning following a two vehicle crash that involved a semi truck.

Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident was reported just before 6:30am. The accident occurred on Missouri Highway 7, in Cass County.

According to the MSHP, a driver of a Pontiac entered the pathway of the semi truck. The driver of the car was not wearing his seatbelt, and was pronounced dead at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation.
