1 person dead after crash in Kansas City, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Kansas City, Missouri.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. at East 113th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard.

Police said the driver of a pickup truck was driving erratically in the southbound on Blue Ridge Boulevard near East 113th Street.

The driver slammed into a car turning left into private drive.

The pickup went across Blue Ridge Boulevard and smashed into a second vehicle, police said.

The crash killed a man in the second vehicle and a second person in that vehicle suffered serious injuries.

The occupants of the pickup truck and the driver of the first vehicle hit were not seriously injured.
